CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

As a Customer Service Representative for A-N-D you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by utilizing your welcoming attitude, excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about design and excited to work with our growing team. A successful candidate will be willing to pitch in and help out with a variety of tasks.

DAILY TASKS (including but not limited to):
Answer main A-N-D phone line, take messages, and answer questions
Answer emails specific to North America (NA) and World Market.
Sales Assistant
Assist our inside and outside sales team and reps
Provide product information.
Provide up to date lead times.
Prepare estimates using SOS and Quickbooks.
Prepare and send invoices to customers.
Troubleshoot client queries.









ROLE BREAKDOWN:
CUSTOMER SERVICE / INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE
Maintain an understanding of our partners and client requests: agents (reps), retailers, designers, and direct to consumer sales.
Maintain an understanding of different sales territories and discount structures.

INTERDEPARTMENTAL COMMUNICATION
Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure lead times are up to date.
Communicate with the accounting team in regards to client payments and invoices.
Communicate with the Shipping and Receiving department to coordinate shipments and returns.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of each product family and variation.
Have an understanding of the specific requirements for each region (EU vs NORTH AMERICA vs WORLD MARKET, etc)
Maintain an understanding of the modular capacities of our fixtures.
Ensure all client facing documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

OFFICE
Assist with keeping office/showroom fixtures up to date.
Assist with maintaining office cleanliness.
Manage and disseminate samples, catalogues, other marketing materials, and swag.
Maintain an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere.

REPORTING
This role reports to the Sales Operations Manager and President of A-N-D.

REQUIREMENTS
2-3 years of customer service and/or sales experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with inventory management software and accounting software (SOS and Quickbooks) is an asset
Experience with decorative lighting is an asset
Complex document literacy
An interest in design
